Easter is always a fun Sunday. When I worked at the golf store in Columbus my co-workers would always kid me about getting ready for the "Superbowl." They most often had no idea that the real story behind what we celebrate is indeed the Superbowl of life. To realize that our Savior would endure the pain and suffering that he did, just so we could have relationship with him is indeed too immense to comprehend. And when we understand God's work throughout history he was continually closing the gap which sin had produced. As I think of God's patience and grace I realize so quickly that I have so much to learn and I need to be so much more humble to his desires and leading in my life.
What a joy it is to serve a wonderful and terrific God. I am thankful for the reminder that Easter is to me each year.
